Famoco closed its 1st round Fundraising
Paris 15th October 2013, Famoco announced, after 2 years of R&D, its first round fundraising with Aurinvest and Fast Forward. Famoco raised €1million.
As a reminder, Famoco is a French company created by 2 French business men, Lionel Baraban and Nicolas Berbigier. Together, they developed the first stand-alone, dedicated, secure, low-cost NFC device, which supports a variety of services including loyalty, mobile POS, mobile payments) for companies and regional authorities. This investment will help Famoco secure its development in EMEA region, to recruit new staff and improve the product regarding customers’ needs.
Aurinvest and Fast Forward, two venture capital funds whose mission is to boost the commercial growth of SMEs, explained why they chose Famoco :
