Flexible biometric capabilities

The Famoco Digitouch is built around a modular biometric architecture, allowing you to choose between three optical fingerprint sensors depending on your operational and regulatory requirements.

– IDEMIA CBM-E4: Field-proven reliability with FBI PIV IQS certification and integrated fake finger detection
– FAP20: Cost-efficient standard biometric verification for large-scale deployment
– FAP30: High-accuracy biometric sensor with a larger capture area for demanding identification environments

All three modules operate and comply with international biometric standards, ensuring secure and consistent identity verification across projects.

Optional smartcard authentication

The device can be equipped with an optional ISO7816 smartcard reader, enabling secure authentication through contact or dual-interface cards. This configuration allows match-on-card biometric verification, ensuring that fingerprint data remains stored and processed directly on the card for enhanced privacy and compliance. Ideal for national ID programs, voter registration, access control or benefit distribution, the smartcard option strengthens identity verification without requiring external peripherals.

Seamless NFC transactions

Our Famoco Digitouch integrates a front-tap NFC reader compatible with major contactless standards, enabling fast and secure card verification with a simple tap. Beyond identity authentication, it also supports contactless monetary transactions, making it suitable for payment-enabled identity and service ecosystems.

Integrated biometric services

Powered by Famoco Biometry services, the device benefits from a native and secure layer that connects the fingerprint module directly to your application environment. We provide the embedded application layer required to capture and verify fingerprints, simplifying integration and reducing development time. This controlled architecture ensures secure access to the sensor and enables advanced protections such as remote biometric module locking in case of theft or misuse.

Secured by design

Running on Famoco OS, our secure Android-based operating system, the Famoco Digitouch ensures a fully controlled and sovereign environment for sensitive identity operations. Google-free and protected from third-party data sharing, it guarantees that biometric and transactional data remain confidential. Combined with a dedicated SAM slot and an embedded secure element (ST SAFE), the device reinforces cryptographic protection and secure key management for high-security identity and authentication programs.
