The company’s operational needs
DATABASICS looked to expand beyond its core software offering into new Time & Attendance markets such as hospitality and manufacturing. To support this ambition, the company needed a reliable platform capable of operating in demanding environments while addressing evolving market and compliance challenges. What we built together
To support its Time & Attendance expansion strategy, DATABASICS deploys the Famoco Tab 10, a rugged tablet featuring NFC capabilities and a front camera, designed to meet the constraints of demanding operational environments. Running on Famoco OS, a tailored Android operating system aligned with DATABASICS’ technical requirements, the solution ensures full data sovereignty.
Through the Famoco MDM platform, device fleets are fully managed remotely. The platform enables large-scale configuration, including usage policies (individual access permissions by device). Beyond simplifying deployments, it centralizes technical device data (location, battery status, last use, etc) and supports operational teams remotely through features like geolocation, remote control or messaging. Connectivity is powered by Famoco Connect, providing instant access to global connectivity without the need for physical SIM card management.
On the field, pre-configured with the DATABASICS Time Shared Clock application, the solution enables employees to easily clock in and out through NFC badge identification and facial confirmation photo capture. Organizations can monitor workforce activity, including working hours, breaks and meal periods, while giving employees access to schedules and PTO balances. Time transactions synchronize directly into the DATABASICS platform to support payroll, compliance, labor tracking and reporting.
Designed for high-volume shared environments with minimal training required, the solution functions seamlessly in both connected and offline environments. Thanks to this joint ecosystem, both DATABASICS teams and their customers benefit from full remote access and management capabilities, significant time savings and smoother operational processes.
