About INCERT

Founded in 2012, INCERT is a Luxembourg public agency which mission is to develop technological solutions and provide IT infrastructure designed to protect identities – whether for people or products. Their expertise in cryptography, identity document management, cybersecurity, web, and mobile technologies enables them to work on projects in both the public and private sectors.

For instance, INCERT worked with the various governments, with a leading company on securing connected cars through a solution deployed across four continents, and on international event security activities for Presidencies of the Council of the European Union.

The company’s operational needs

For over 15 years, Novento, the solution of INCERT, has faced the challenge of securely managing real-time access control for event participants. Their previous systems lacked a management solution for deploying updates to their proprietary application. Moreover, the available devices could only read one type of QR code which limited flexibility. In the context of the French presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2022, it was essential to implement a solution that was rapid, transparent, and capable of supporting multiple use cases.

Field use cases 

Thanks to the combined optical and laser scanning capabilities of the FX325 device, integrated with our MDM platform, Famoco’s solution significantly enhances operational efficiency in the field. INCERT leverages this technology for both small and extended projects, ensuring secure access control across multiple European countries, including Sweden, France, Spain, Belgium, and Hungary. Additionally, Famoco’s solution is widely used in Luxembourg across various event types, serving telecom operators, public entities or research centers.

The professional and highly responsive technical team provided clear documentation and rapid guidance during the integration process, ensuring a smooth and secure deployment without delays.
